Although calling ourselves “Peterborough Photographers” is accurate, A9K Photo offers a local, national and international photography service. We are based on the very furthest southern border of Lincolnshire, right next to Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, but our work often takes us much further afield. We have excellent access to main travel routes being positioned right on the A1 motorway. Most major cities are easy commute distance not to mention London is a 45 minute train ride away.

Our central location has been instrumental in giving us easy access to the rest of the country and we have been lucky enough to take photographs throughout a big chunk of not only England but also Scotland, Whales and Ireland. Our commercial and event photography work has taken us all the way up to Aberdeen, all the way down to Bexhill and a hop sideways to Cork with lots of locations in between.

So, let’s talk money. Every photography job is unique and dependant on a few variables. Some of these variables can be as obvious as the ever changing British weather but there are otherfactors that you may not have considered such as location availability and model experience. Every client can have different expectations of what is achievable within a certain timeframe and with what equipment we would recommend that we bring along to make the shoot work well for everyone. An organised corporate event is a very different job to food or fashion photography for example.

In the Peterborough area we would normally bill event work within a 30 mile radius at between £350+VAT for a half day shoot to £600+VAT per day for a full day shoot depending on the length of the job. Half day being roughly 4 hours and full day being roughly 8 hours. We would always use “roughly” rather than nailing it down to the minute as these things can drift. We know from experience that crowds and speakers can be late, go over time and off script. This is no problem. We will always work with you to get the job done rather than clock watch down to the last second. If the job requires substantial travel or time extensions, additional costs are calculated and agreed upon prior to the job taking place. There are no “surprises” on the final invoice.

Commercial work such as food, fashion or interiors photography is quoted on a job by job basis. This type of work can often span multiple venues, studios and dates so is always evaluated on a bespoke basis. Please get in touch to discuss your commercial photography project.
